No doubt you are familiar with Zach Rowden - New Haven’s premier musical juggernaut who’s been ripping upright across a smattering of absolute must-grip titles on No Rent, Astral Spirits, Working Man Lay Down, and Torn Light; he battles fiddles in the mind-melting Tongue Depressor, and has been on an absolute tear in 2020, self-releasing burner after burner of incredible concrète tape zones, charting some of the most intense magnetics to cross my playhead this year.

WERE YR EARS BURNIN? follows suit, seeing Rowden crafting two sidelong slabs of outright charred sonic delirium, providing two divergent paths, with Foam Born's overwhelming bleak disorientation giving way to the more subdued spooky smolder of 14_9 Quiver's ominous slow burn.
