Swarm of Pigs

by Shingles

Recorded just hours before the Ridgewood, New York institution The Silent Barn was raided and closed by the police, the 2-minute long "Swarm of Pigs" documents an oddly foreboding lament of the post 9/11 justice system.

Less than a handful of copies were handcut on turn of the century technology on a warm July day in the UK.

Requests for digital versions of this piece will not be entertained, as limitations imposed over time for the greater good often have unintended casualties and unavoidable losses. Each cylinder is fragile and may minutely deteriorate over repeated listening, it's voice, too, inevitably rounding out over time and fading into the forgotten.

BT-048 Released in an edition of 3 wax cylinders.

SHINGLES is Jesse DeRosa
